What makes a companion feel real
Three things, in order: a consistent voice, a memory of tone, and the willingness to ask a question back. A character who agrees with everything becomes boring within ten messages. Every companion in Nikaai is written with opinions, small preferences and a habit of steering the conversation somewhere you did not plan.
